BC’s music scene takes center stage with province-wide showcases celebrating local talent.

As excitement builds for the 2025 Juno Awards in Vancouver, British Columbia is kicking off celebrations early with a series of free concerts across the province. Designed to spotlight BC’s vibrant and diverse music culture, these events will bring emerging and acclaimed artists to stages in six cities—Victoria, Nanaimo, Prince George, Surrey, Kelowna, and Terrace—throughout March. From indie-pop to hip-hop, the showcases promise a dynamic preview of the talent shaping Canada’s music landscape.

• Vox Rea: A moody indie-pop band (Vancouver/Victoria) known for performances at Phillips Backyard and Rifflandia.
• Luca Fogale: Burnaby-born singer-songwriter and two-time Juno nominee (2022, 2024) for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.
Date/Venue: March 27 @ The Queen’s

• Snotty Nose Rez Kids: Critically acclaimed hip-hop duo from Haisla First Nation; Polaris Prize shortlisted for all four albums and multi-Juno nominees.
• Sirreal: Vancouver Island rapper who’s shared stages with Method Man, Ludacris, and Bone Thugs N Harmony.
• DJ All Good: Vancouver Island’s top turntablist, blending genres for high-energy sets.

Surrey’s Mega Showcase

The largest event in the series, Surrey’s March 15 showcase at City Hall Plaza will feature over 30 artists across six stages. While full lineups are still emerging, the scale highlights Surrey’s growing role as a cultural hub.
