‘Look up:’ Snowbirds to return to Vancouver Island skies in August

Back by popular demand, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will be returning to Victoria on Aug. 4 to perform their famed aerobatic performance for Greater Victoria residents. The Snowbirds announced the show on Facebook on Thursday, April 23, saying they will be performing at Dallas Road park at 5 p.m. as part of their 55th season. “Bring the family, find a great spot and look up. We cannot wait to see you there,” noted the Facebook post. The Greater Victoria Festival Society noted on their website that food trucks will be present ahead of the event. The Snowbirds have been performing since 1971, flying the 60s-era CT-114 Tutor training jets at shows and events across the country.
