Dates: September 6–13, 2025
Location: Moutcha Bay Resort, Nootka Sound, Vancouver Island, BC
Presented by: Port Boathouse & Yamaha
Entry Fee: $2,500 CAD + GST per team (maximum 6 anglers per boat)
Registration Deadline: August 29, 2025
Early Bird Incentive: Book before June 30 to receive complimentary moorage during the derby (available to Moutcha Bay Resort and Nootka Sound Resort guests only)

Prizes & Competition

Grand Prize

$30,000 CAD for the team with the highest aggregate weight of four Albacore tuna caught during the derby

Second Place

$15,000 CAD for the team with the second-highest aggregate weight

Daily Top Tuna Prize

$5,000 CAD for the largest Albacore tuna caught each day; if no eligible fish are caught on a given day, the prize rolls over to the next day

Hidden Weight Prize
