The Salmon Enhancement Derby is a two day catch and release fishing tournament designed to raise critical funds for salmon habitat restoration in Nootka Sound and Esperanza Inlet. Participants vie for the three largest Chinook catches while enjoying community auctions, live music, and local brews—all set against the rugged beauty of Vancouver Island’s west coast.
• Dates & Times: Saturday–Sunday, July 5–6, 2025. Registration opens at 7 AM each morning; weigh ins close at 4 PM sharp
