As the summer solstice approaches, Victoria, BC, prepares to transform into a haven for music enthusiasts. From June 20 to 29, 2025, the city will pulse with rhythms and melodies as the TD Victoria International JazzFest celebrates its 41st edition. This ten-day festival promises an eclectic mix of jazz, funk, soul, and world music, featuring both renowned artists and emerging talents.

Venues & Accessibility

Free Workshops

Enhance your festival experience by attending free workshops at The Lounge in Archie Browning Sports Centre (Esquimalt). These sessions, led by performing artists, offer insights into jazz techniques and improvisation. Notable workshop leaders include Grammy-winning bassist Richard Bona, guitarist Matteo Mancuso, trumpeter Marquis Hill, and saxophonist Christine Jensen.

Visitor Information

• Weather: The festival proceeds rain or shine. Check forecasts and dress accordingly.
• What to Bring: Lawn chairs, blankets, sunscreen, empty water bottles, and dancing shoes.
• Prohibited Items: Pets (except service animals), large sun shelters, tents, coolers, outside alcohol, drones, and professional recording equipment.
• Transportation: Limited parking is available; consider biking or public transit. Bike parking is provided at Bullen Park.
• Lost & Found: Report lost items to on-site security or contact the festival office at 250-388-4423.
