
Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is a 347-hectare park located in Parksville, BC. The park features a two-kilometre long stretch of sandy beach, a stand of old-growth Douglas fir trees, and offers 250 vehicle-accessible and 25 walk-in camping spaces. It's a popular year-round destination, easily accessible from Highway 19. At low tide, the beach stretches nearly a kilometre out into the Strait of Georgia.
The park offers several scenic trails suitable for running, including the Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park Loop, a 3.5 km circular trail that takes approximately 50 minutes to complete. This easy route is popular for birding, road biking, and running, providing a mix of forested paths and beachside views.
