What if you could walk into a place where stories come alive through brush strokes, rhythmic beats, and the swirl of silk fans? Picture an art festival where cultures converge, creators connect, and every corner invites discovery. World of Art 2025 promises all that and more—but only those who read on will uncover the full adventure.

  • Saturday August 16, 2025 • 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday August 17, 2025 • 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Multipurpose Hall, Cowichan Community Centre (Island Savings Centre), Duncan, BC
Admission: Free to attend with online ticket (donations welcome)
Artists & Makers: Over 65 of Vancouver Island’s finest — from painters and potters to photography, sculpture, mixed media art, personal care products, handmade jewellery, and more
Performances: 7 dynamic acts: Indigenous Tzinquaw Dancers, Vesna Ukrainian group, Fusion CHIBCHA (Colombian dance), Maple Leaf Ballet, O’Brien Irish dancers, Coco Madari, plus meditative flute music by Samuel Kjell Smith; and live carving demos by master carver Rupert Jeffery

✅ Transit: BC Transit runs Route #2 from downtown Duncan; schedule ahead to arrive before 11 AM.
✅ Parking: Free public lots attached to the Community Centre; carpool if possible during peak hours.
