Secluded and rainforest Wildwoods Campsite nestled in the rainforest has 75 sites on Hardy Bay's estuary. The rustic and family-owned Wildwoods Campsite has been operated for over 30 years. Dock facilities are provided at Wildwoods Campsite for boats up to 6 m (20 ft.). The campsite offers both RV sites and tent sites for camping. Sites are full-serviced, featuring sewer, electricity, shower, laundry, and water. BC Ferry Terminal, 2 km (1.2 miles), and Port Hardy's Centre is 6 km (3.7 miles) from the campground. Rates are reasonable there. Most of the summer, the campsite offers perfect fishing, including salmon species and groundfish as halibut.

Wildwoods Campsite is located in Port Hardy on North Vancouver Island. Its nearby campgrounds are Georgie Lake, about 15 km (9.3 miles) with Nahwitti Lake about 25 km (15.5 miles) to the north, Cluxewe Resort 24 km (14.9 miles) to the south, Port Hardy RV Resort & Log Cabins about 1 km (0.6 miles) with Quatse River Campground about 2 km (1.2 miles) to the west. Two nearby lakes to the Wildwoods Campsite are Beard Lake, about 1 km (0.6 miles), with Cunningham Lake, about 2 km (1.2 miles) to its southeast. Georgie Lake, about 15 km (9.3 miles) and Songhees Lake, about 13 km (8 miles), are to the north. The lakes to its west are Quatse Lake with Frances Lake 10 km (6.2 miles), and to the south are Beaver Lake, about 16 km (9.9 miles), with Misty Lake 19 km (11.9 miles). If you're interested in natural history museums, you would have a pleasant experience visiting the Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre.
