Mount Cain is accessible via Highway 19, located south of the Woss turnoff. Driving approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour northward from Campbell River city, there are the blue highway signs of Mount Cain and Schoen Lake Provincial Park. Going further to the Woss, there is a gravel road to Mount Cain. There is also a route from the north side of Vancouver Island, located near Port McNeill, with a 50-minute journey.
