What to Expect

Saturday, August 2 (starting ~10 am)

Soap Box Derby races in downtown Ladysmith—adrenaline and local flair collide!
"Old School Races" family challenges (12–2 pm at Transfer Beach). Sponsored by local community groups, this is fun for kids of all ages.
Vendor Market & Food Trucks lining the waterfront, with handcrafted goods and island-inspired fare.

Sunday, August 3

Fishing Derby – a classic pastime, perfect for families and outdoor lovers.
Family-Friendly Competitions: Nail Driving, Greasy Pole, and maybe even a playful wrestling match!
