Parksville Beach Festival is an international Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition event on Parksville’s public beach in the community park. Every year, artists worldwide come to join the competition, sculpting sandcastles based on a specific theme and enjoying the high-quality food that comes with the festival. During the event, the sandcastles are on display and posting pictures of them would do your social media accounts good. Also, you can enjoy a series of live music events that the festival hosts and more. This festival is one of the most important tourist attractions on the east coast of Vancouver Island; every year, professional sculptors from all around the world apply to participate in the competition and would be honoured to be accepted. The current title of the festival is The Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition & Exhibition, but it has come a long way to be this successful, evolving into a fun world-class Master Sculptor competition.
