Celebrating More Than 150 Years of Agriculture and Community

As the golden days of summer gently fade, hearts on Vancouver Island begin to flutter with excitement for a beloved tradition that has been running since 1868. The 2025 Saanich Fair returns this Labour Day weekend, ready to light up Saanichton with a joyous celebration of agriculture, community spirit, and family memories waiting to be made. Last year, between 40,000 and 50,000 visitors came together over three unforgettable days.

What’s New at the 2025 Saanich Fair?

Enjoy five additional rides, reducing wait times and increasing fun for all ages.
Catch local bands, youth performers, and clowns at the Wagon Wheel Stage.
Witness sheep and cattle shows in the beef barns, and see donkeys alongside mighty draft horses in the Agriplex.
Test your luck behind the Saddleback Main Stage.
Utilize the free, secure bike parking service provided by The Locker.

Headline Entertainment

One of the highlights of the fair is the live performance by Canadian rock band The Trews, scheduled for Sunday, August 31 at 8:00 PM on the Saddleback Stage. With multiple Top 10 hits and numerous awards, The Trews are sure to deliver an electrifying show.

Family-Friendly Fun

The Tiny Town Kid Zone is packed with activities to keep young visitors entertained:
✅ Bouncy castles and a carousel (tickets required)
✅ Face painting and pony rides
✅ Heritage Acres threshing machine demonstrations
✅ Wagon Wheel Stage performances featuring local youth artists and clowns
✅ Food trucks offering a variety of tasty treats
✅ OTRA race cars and excavation/farming equipment displays
Additionally, children aged 12 and under have the chance to win an all-day ride bracelet by downloading a form from the fair's website and submitting it before August 21.

By Car

The fairgrounds are located at 1528 Stellys Cross Road. Please note that the Wallace Drive south-bound lane (towards Brentwood) is closed from Stelly’s Cross Road to West Saanich Road.

By Bus

Public transit options include:

  • Bus #81 from Swartz Bay Terminal/Sidney/North Saanich
  • Bus #75 from Downtown Victoria/Uptown
  • Bus #95 to Uptown, then transfer to #75 from Uptown

Ticket Information

Tickets are available for purchase online, allowing you to skip the lines and enter through express lanes upon arrival. Additionally, presale ride wristbands are offered at a discounted rate.
