Fair Harbour, located on the northwest of Vancouver Island, is an oceanic kayaking zone. Moreover, this historic site offers facilities for making other activities possible. Whaling stations at Cashalot Inlet and Battle Bay in Ookinish Inlet are other attractions of this place.
Kyuquot Sound, Checleset Bay Ecological Reserve, and Brooks Peninsula Provincial Park are among the closest recreational locations to Fair Harbour. Cape Cook and Clerke Point are other kayaking zones where winds can be mighty.

Fair Harbour is accessible via BC-19 N from Victoria. Going through BC-19 N, 490 km away from Victoria, there is a sign representing Woss, leading to a gravel road. Continuing the way, Fair Harbour is reachable. There are also BC Ferries with scheduled departures from Horseshoe Bay to Duke Point and Nanaimo. From the Ferry terminus, road signs show how it connects Nanaimo to Zeballos; Fair Harbour is located northwest of Zeballos, with a distance of about 35 km (21.7 miles).
