Wall beach is located near Nanoose Bay and Parksville, northwest of Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. There are many parks near Wall Beach, but two of the most beautiful of them are Parrys RV Park and Top Bridge Community Park.
Englishman River Falls Provincial Park, with beautiful falls (Englishman River Falls) and the Englishman River, is another landmark near Wall Beach, which you can hang out with your family. Parrys RV Park, northwest of Wall Beach, is an excellent swimming and camping spot. It will be one of the stunning parks you have ever seen in your life. Parksville Museum is about 4 km (2.4 miles) away from Wall Beach. This museum is collecting, preserving & displaying artifacts relating to various local area aspects.


How to Get to Wall Beach by Car

From Nanaimo:
Getting to Wall Beach from Nanaimo is via BC-19 N. It is 31.3 km (19.4 miles) and takes almost half an hour.
Go head west on Fitzwilliam St toward Wesley St for 800 m (2624.6 ft). Continue onto Third St for 1.9 km (1.2 miles), then go onto Jingle Pot Rd for 650 m (2132.5ft). Turn right onto BC-19 N (signs for Campbell R) and drive 21.6 km (13.4 miles). Turn right onto NW Bay Rd and after 6 km (3.7 miles), turn right onto Wall Beach Rd. After 350 m (1148.3 ft), you will reach Wall Beach.

From Victoria:
The access to Wall Beach from Victoria is via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. It is 142 km (88.2 miles) and takes less than two hours.
Take Government St to Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N for 1.2 km (0.7 miles). Continue on Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N to Nanoose Bay and drive 134 km (83.2 miles). Follow NW Bay Rd to Wall Beach Rd, and after 6.4 km (3.9 miles), you will reach Wall Beach.

History of Wall Beach

Wall Beach is placed in the territory of Qualicum and SNAW-NAW-AS LE LUM / NANOOSE from the Coast Salish people. These people are a big group with several tribes, cultures, and languages on south Vancouver Island. SNAW-NAW-AS LE LUM people have been living in a relatively consistent area since 2000 years ago. The Qualicum First Nation has a small number of members. Now the area is a big campground.
