Getting from downtown Nanaimo to Neck Point Park is via Terminal Ave N and Hammond Bay Rd. It's 10.6 km (6.5 miles) and takes about 14 minutes.
Start your way to the northwest on Wallace St toward Wentworth St for 500 meters (1640.4 feet). Turn right onto Comox Rd and drive for 93 meters (305.1 feet). Turn left onto Terminal Ave N/Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N for 2.7 km (1.6 miles) and continue onto Island Hwy N/BC-19A N. After 230 meters (754.5 feet), turn right onto Departure Bay Rd and go on for 2 km (1.2 miles). Turn right onto Hammond Bay Rd and after 4.3 km (2.6 miles), turn right onto Morningside Dr (Be aware that this part of the road is a partially restricted usage road). After 650 meters (2132.5 feet), you will reach Neck Point Park.
From Victoria:
The access to Neck Point Park from Victoria is via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. It's 121 km (75.1 miles) and takes about an hour and 45 minutes.
Take Government St to Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N for 1.2 km (0.7 miles). Use any lane to turn left onto Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N and drive 110 km (68.3 miles). Follow Terminal Ave N, Departure Bay Rd, and Hammond Bay Rd to Morningside Dr (This route has restricted usage or private roads.) After 9.7 km (6 miles), you will reach Neck Point Park.
Neck Point Park Loop is near Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. It has a distance of 1.8 km (1.1 miles), 20 meters (65.6 feet) of elevation gain, and is rated easy.
