Bowen Park Loop is part of the Trans Canada Trail (The Great Trail) in the Nanaimo area. This moderately trafficked trail is one of the most visited Vancouver Island's hiking trails. How to Get to Bowen Park Loop By Car

From Nanaimo:
Bowen Park Loop is located in Nanaimo, just 1.6 km (1 mile) away from downtown. The access is from Wallace St and Comox Rd Fastest route.

From Victoria:
Getting to Bowen Park Loop from Victoria is via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. It's 112 km (69.5 miles) and takes about an hour and a half.
Head west on Pandora Ave and go toward Government St for 99 meters (324.8 feet). Turn right onto Government St and after 1 km (0.6 miles), take a slight right toward Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. After 72 meters (236.2 feet), use any lane to turn left onto Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N and drive 110 km (68.3 miles). Turn left onto Comox Rd to follow it 700 meters (2296.5 feet). Continue onto Bowen Rd for 350 meters (1148.2 feet) and turn right onto Millstream Pkwy. Your destination will be on the right, and after 170 meters (557.7 feet), you will reach Bowen Park.
