Getting to Orlebar Point from Nanaimo is via Gabriola Island Ferry and Berry Point Rd. It is 12.2 km (7.5 miles) and takes about 43 minutes.
Take Wallace St and Front St to Gabriola Island Ferry for 1.2 km (0.7 miles). Continue to the Gabriola Island Ferry to Gabriola (Toll road) and after 5.7 km (3.5 miles) follow Taylor Bay Rd to Berry Point Rd. Drive 4.3 km (2.6 miles) and turn left to stay on Berry Point Rd. Destination will be on the left, and after 1 km (0.6 miles), you will reach Orlebar Point / Berry Point.
From Victoria:
The access to Orlebar Point from Victoria is via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. It is 122 km (75.8 miles) and takes about 5 hours and 10 minutes.
Take Government St to Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N for 1.2 km (0.7 miles). Use any lane to turn left onto Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N and drive 109 km (67.7 miles). Take Front St to Gabriola Island Ferry and after 650 m (2132.5 ft) continue toward the Gabriola Island Ferry to Gabriola (Toll road) for 5.7 km (3.5 miles) more. Follow Taylor Bay Rd to Berry Point Rd for 5.4 km (3.3 miles) to reach your destination.
