The access to Pipers Lagoon Park from downtown Nanaimo is via Terminal Ave N and Hammond Bay Rd. It's 9.4 km (5.8 miles) and takes about 10 minutes.
Follow Terminal Ave N, Departure Bay Rd and Hammond Bay Rd to Lagoon Rd for 8.8 km (5.4 miles). Drive to Place Rd, and after 550 meters (1804.4 feet), you will reach Pipers Lagoon Park.

The fastest route from Victoria to Pipers Lagoon Park is Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N. It's 120 km (74.5 miles) and takes about an hour and a half.
Take Government St to Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N for 1.2 km (0.7 miles). Use any lane to turn left onto Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N and drive 110 km (68.3 miles). Follow Terminal Ave N, Departure Bay Rd and Hammond Bay Rd to Place Rd. After 8.5 km (5.2 miles), you will reach the park.
