Mount Adrian has two summits. Offering a 360° view across the whole Strathcona Provincial Park, Mount Adrian is above Buttle Lake and is known as one of the highest locations on Vancouver Island. Mount Adrian offers spectacular trails for snowmobiling and other winter activities. Mount Adrian is reachable via taking a plane from Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, Calgary, Edmonton and San Francisco to Vancouver Island. Visitors can then travel from Victoria, Nanaimo, Comox and Campbell River city to Mount Adrian by renting a car.
Taking Highway 28 from Campbell River toward Gold River village and driving 47 km (29.2 miles), Strathcona Park is accessible. Continuing 1 km (0.6 miles) further on highway 28 and ignoring the right turn over the bridge at Buttle Narrows and by riding 10 km (.2 miles) even further, the Buttle Bluffs Road is observable. After riding 7 km (4.3 miles) southeast, there is a way towards the high pass between Alexandra Peak and Mt Adrian. Even further, the mount Adrian heights are reachable.
