Stories Beach is located in Campbell River's vicinity, a vibrant region with many attractions on the east coast of central Vancouver Island, between Strathcona Provincial Park and Discovery Islands. Stories Beach is fantastic for its breathtaking waves offering a real surfing opportunity. The area is mostly famous for Salmon fishing and is known as the Salmon Capital of the World.
Surrounded by five Provincial Parks, including Strathcona Provincial Park, Miracle Beach Provincial Park, Morton Lake Provincial Park, Loveland Bay Provincial Park, and Elk Falls Provincial Park, Stories Beach is on the east coast of central Vancouver Island. It is 15 minutes south of Campbell River between Strathcona Park and the Discovery Islands.
Stories Beach has an oceanic climate. The most precipitation usually occurs in November. Snowfalls are also prevalent in cold weather.
