Jordan River, the logging and mining community and a paradise for storm watching, is known as the home of surfers (also called Jordan River self-club). Big swells and powerful high waves about 2-4 feet (0.6-1.2 m) make Jordan River surfer's and storm watchers' celebrating place. Because it can get tricky and quite windy at times, having local knowledge is necessary. Jordan River offers an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean. A beautiful place for watching storms, surfers, and enjoying nature. The pebble beach is mostly made of rocks, and there is not much sand. The beach is very clean and pristine, with lots of logs to sit and enjoy the ocean and nature's beauty. Camping there, the sound of waves and water at night, seeing tide go in and out, and the smell of nature makes you feel refreshed.
