The Elk/Beaver Regional Park windsurfing is a choice to catch some waves in the Victoria region. It is located in Saanich, containing Elk Lake and Beaver Lake. The two resorts have an area of around 1,072 acres (4.34 km2) and spectacular natural beauty. Elk/Beaver Lakes Regional Park is virtually an all-year-round place and is the destination of swimmers, windsurfers, sailors and water-skiers. Horse-riding and strolling along the shore are among other popular activities.
Leaving the city by Blanshard street, Elk/ Beaver Lake is accessible from downtown Victoria through Highway 17. The park is in the vicinity of Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.
