From the Uplands Park, access to the Willows Beach and Frog Beach is available. Willows Beach and Willows Park along the beach, 900 m (2952 ft.) away from Cattle Point, are the most actively used beach and park in Victoria. At Willows Beach, which is along Willows Park, visitors may get the exhilarating opportunity of watching barreling waves smashing against the rocks and beach during winters. At Willows Park, clubs and organizations hold plenty of gatherings, including poetry reading, clubs meeting, barbecues, and family gatherings. Willows Park holds the annual tea party of Oak Bay. People gather and participate from all over Victoria and enjoy games, shows, rides, and the parade running around Oak Bay.
3 km (1.8 miles) to the west of the Cattle Point, McMicking Point is located. McMicking Point can be experienced as a storm watching spot for the high winds hitting its rocky beach. The Point has a lot of tidal pools to see various marine life, as well as beautiful natural places to roam around. McMicking Park is a pristine small park through a residential neighbourhood, ornamented with native and non-native shrubs, rock outcrops, a diversity of flora and fauna, and colourful birds. The park provides magnificent views of the ocean in a very peaceful oceanside setting.
Just 200 m (656 ft.) east of McMicking Park and 3 km (1.8 miles) west of Cattle Point, Anderson Hill Park is located. Anderson Hill Park is a beautiful undeveloped park that offers panoramic views of nature. The park is valuable for some archeological features and is also home to native and non-native shrubs and a diversity of flora and fauna. Bird watchers can find Anderson Hill Park, a paradise of colourful bird species.

December and January are the coldest months, with a maximum temperature of 8°C (46.4°F) and a minimum temperature of 3°C (37.4°F). Rain falls throughout the year. The high rate of precipitation is from November to January. Snow falls from October through March.
