Tribune Bay Provincial Park, nicknamed “Little Hawaii,” is known for its unusual rocky shoreline formations, tidal pools and beautiful white sandy beaches. The park is also famous for the warm and shallow water, which is ideal for frolicking and swimming.

Tribune Bay Provincial Park has about 95 hectares (234.75 Acres) surface area. It is located on Hornby Island in British Columbia, Canada. The park comprises eccentric rock formations and more than a kilometre of white sandy beaches. Tribune Bay is one of the warmest saltwater swimming spots in BC and home to an exciting driftwood collection.

Tribune Bay Provincial Park was established on November 2, 1978. The bay (and hence the park) was named after HMS Tribune, a ship stationed in British Columbia in 1859–1860 and 1864.
Tribune Bay is among the warmest saltwater swimming spots in BC, and the beautiful white sandy beach is ideal for frolicking.
Hiking, canoeing, kayaking and fishing are available. Tribune Bay is also a popular day-use destination for picnickers.
