Ford's Cove Marina Campground is located on Hornby Island, Central Vancouver Island. The treed and grassy campground is on the southwest of Hornby Island by the water, and the beach takes 2 minutes of walking. The campground is about 30 km (18.6 miles) to Courtenay from its north and Parksville from the south.
It is encircled by Denman Island 3 km (1.8 miles) to the west. Texada Island and Lasqueti Island are about 25 km (15.5 miles) to the east. With only five minutes-walk, enjoy beautiful trails with orchards at Mt Geoffrey Provincial Park suitable for everybody. The campground is about 4 km (2.4 miles) to Tribune Bay Beach, 5 km (3.1 miles) to Saint Johns Point Park, and 6 km (3.7 miles) to Helliwell Provincial Park from the east, on Hornby Island. Two Community Parks from east of the campground on the island, each about 6 km (3.7 miles) away, are Clam Shell Community Park and Tralee Community Park,
with beautiful trails. Two community parks within a short distance to the east of the campground are Arthurs Community Park 2 km (1.2 miles) and Sandpiper Beach Park 3 km (1.8 miles).
