It has a large day-use area and campground with several hiking trails to enjoy spectacular views along the Englishman River that meanders through the forest. The beautiful campsite is well maintained with tall trees and lovely views.
Most campsites are spacious and fairly level, while some are heavily treed and uneven. Tent sites, RV sites, and vehicle-accessible campsites nestled in the trees are also provided in the park for camp lovers.
Each site features a firepit and picnic table, which would be a bonus. The day-use area nestled in the forest overlooks the river with access to park trails.
The park enjoys two stunning falls cascading into a canyon and offers beautiful attractions to explore on Central Island. The lower falls end in a deep crystal-clear pool is an ideal place for swimming in summer with spawning salmon in the fall. A small rocky beach is located downstream on which strolling would be fun.
