The Wya Point Camping, tucked in the coastal forest, is an ideal recreational and camping spot for individuals and families. The property's owners are Ucluelet's First Nation (known as Yuu-Tluth-Aht), set at an old village. Visitors enjoy picnic sites by camping there, each separated by vegetation with a fire pit for long summer nights and picnic tables for meals.
Wya Point is a lovely secluded area to place your tent even in the busiest times, with a nice view of crashing waves and the ocean. Campers would enjoy different campsites as ocean walk-in sites, car sites, tent sites, and RV partially. A parking lot is located within the campsite, not far away from Wya Point Beach.
From Wya Point Campsite, direct access is possible to the pristine Wya Beach, which keeps its seclusion even in the busiest times. Crystal water, sandy cove, and tide rocks that offer marine life sights make Wya Point Beach and campsite a nice place.
Several beachfront cabins and yurts with ocean-view are available in Wya Point. Nearby, Half Moon Bay Trail and Willowbrae Trail are accessible with direct access from the campground and can be used to have a stroll on nearby beaches.
Located on the secluded and rugged West Coast of Vancouver Island, Wya Point Camping is between Rainforest Trail to the north and Wild Pacific Trail, about 8 km (4.9 miles) distance from each. Kennedy lake and Kennedy Lake Provincial Park are 8 km (4.9 miles) northeast of Wya Point Campground.
Wya Point Surf Campground and Wya Point Resort are around Wya Point to enjoy surf training and some nights to stay. A friendly and pleasant environment of Lost Shoe Campground and Surf Junction Campground, a wooded campsite, and a surf school are nearby. Having a nice coffee and breakfast at Huckleberry's Coffee Shop near Ancient Cedars Loop Trail would make you a lovely day.
