Kwai Lake is a backcountry campground set in a lush forest with diversities of flora and fauna. Campers can have an ideal walk-in, wilderness camping adventure. Walking the trails to the campground, you will be impressed by the gorgeous views of the mountains. The trail takes you around small ponds and sub-alpine glades. To extend your adventure, consider exploring Mount Albert Edward. The campground accommodates 15 tent pads. A washroom facility and food caches are provided to discourage wildlife.
Kwai Lake Campground is located in the center of Vancouver Island within Strathcona Provincial Park in the Forbidden Plateau area. To camp in the Kwai Lake campground, access from Nordic Drive at Raven Lodge Parking is available. Walking starts from Paradise Meadows trailhead through the alpine forest.
