Island View Beach is located on the Saanich Peninsula's eastern shore. The sandy beach with an area of approximately 52 hectares (128.5 acres) is primed with kiteboarding facilities. The place is suitable for several activities such as birdwatching, picnicking, and swimming. Moreover, there is a boat ramp at the park entrance between Island View Beach, James Island, and Sydney Island. Luckily, recreational facilities are not restricted to such activities. There are also biking pathways, a tent campground and picnic areas.
Island View Beach is located between Saanichton and Cordoba Bay and is accessible through Patricia Bay Highway.
