The fastest route to get Saanich Inlet from Victoria is Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17. It is 29.8 km (18.5 miles) and takes about half an hour.
Take Government St to Blanshard St/Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17 for 1.2 km (0.7 miles). Follow Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17 to North Saanich. Take exit 26 from Patricia Bay Hwy/BC-17 and drive 22.7 km (14.1 miles). Follow McTavish Rd, W Saanich Rd/BC-17A N, and Bradley Dyne Rd to Ardmore Dr. After 6 km (3.7 miles), you will reach Saanich Inlet.

Getting to Saanich Inlet from Nanaimo is via Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 S. It is 91 km (56.5 miles) and takes about an hour and 48 minutes.
