French Beach Provincial Park was established in 1974 and set on the Strait of Juan de Fuca on Vancouver Island. It is within the territory of T’sou-ke first nation and a popular place for camping.

Vehicle-accessible campsites are set in the forest with a 5 min walk to the beach.
One group camping is available, accommodating 50 individuals with access to French Beach about 100 m (328 ft.) away from its parking lot. The group campsite facilities are hot water and shelters, electricity for small appliances, parking for RVs, pit-toilets that are wheelchair accessible, group seating and fire pit, and tenting areas with the grassy ground. The park offers trails through the lush forest with beautiful views of second-growth Douglas fir trees, cedar, hemlock, and more.
French Beach Provincial Park Campground
is located within French Beach Provincial Park halfway between Sooke to the south and the Jordan River community. Sooke and Jordan River towns offer restaurants and services for visitors coming to French Beach.
Accommodations to the north are Point No Point Resort 3 km (1.8 miles) and Fossil Bay Resort 4 km (2.4 miles), and Orveas Bay Oceanfront Cottages about 3 km (1.8 miles) to the south. Shirley Delicious café, a cozy place to enjoy café or mealtime, is located 3 km (1.8 miles) to the south. Have an excellent handmade pizza with a picnic area outside at the Stoked Wood Fired Pizzeria and Market, just a minute away south of French Beach Provincial Park. Goudie Creek is located within the park and Begg Creek and Swallow Creek to its north. You would enjoy visiting Flea Beach 2 km (1.2 miles) to its south and Fish Boat Bay Park 3 km (1.8 miles) to its north.
